The "International Guest Certified Hotel Award" was given form the Hotel Agency Group CEO, Ortwin Oberhauser to the family Armin und Elisabeth Bützberger-Wehrle and the Hotel Europa Team, in the presence of the Tourismdirector from St. Moritz/Swiss Dr. Hanspeter Danuser.

The awarding of the "International Guest Certified" Hotel Award is based on one simple question
-do they love the experience of staying in that particular hotel?
If guests love a hotel and would eagerly recommend it to others, the answer to that question is yes and the Hotel would receive the "International Guest Certified" Hotel Award. As a result, the award publicises the trust guests have in the hotel's service for future guests, tour operators and travel agencies, not to mention the international press.
It is also important that a hotel rates safety, security and an excellent quality of facilities as some of its priorities, but for these there are many institutes and organisations that control the certification of such essentials.
One may wonder about the quality of the tourism service, which is provided by the hotel. It is immaterial; you cannot touch or see it. The quality of the tourism service is not obvious to the guest before they book a hotel.
A guest is mostly spatially and temporally separated from the tourism service by booking a tourism product (hotel room or tourism purchase) and because of this they may feel that there is more risk in buying tourism products than in buying products that they can physically see.
How sure can a guest be that the information in a hotel prospectus or on the hotel webpage is true? How high is the probability, as it is usually and conventionally in advertising, that items for sale are projected in a better light than they really are? How can the friendliness and competence of hotel employees, the real selling point, be made visible to the high expectations of the consumer guest?
These and other similar questions that were consequently raised prompted the Hotel Agency Group International, located in the Dubai Media City in the United Arab Emirates, to develop a new quality management system, which brings the guests' needs into focus, centring on the activities created by the hotelier, which should meet the wishes of the guests. Catering to the guest by efficient friendly service, actively seeking to take care of any problem solving for the individual guest, is the prerequisite for
gaining and developing long-term guest trust. This means that the Hotel Agency Group aims to test the true validity of the hotel, which is provided by its own tourism service, with guests that desire to use the functions of that specific hotel, and so the results will be unbiased; the hotel will have been seen clearly through the eyes of its guests.
The "International Guest Certified" Hotel Award is a possibility for
hoteliers who offer their guests such a good quality of service that the guests will no longer debate over price, but rather over which hotel would cater best, in terms of friendly and efficient service, to their particular needs.
